He has released 7 albums or EP's since 2007, the latest being the full-length LP, "The Way," released in November, 2021. His album release show, with his band, Rob Roper and the Lost Dreams, drew a large crowd at Herman's Hideaway in November, 2021. Jon Solomon of the Denver weekly, The Westword, interviewed Rob Roper and wrote an article about "The Way." (See https://www.westword.com/music/rob-roper-plays-an-album-release-show-at-hermans-12702263) In their latest issue, 303 Magazine listed Rob Roper as one of the Top 5 Local Up and Coming Acts. (See https://303magazine.com/2021/12/new-colorado-music-december-2021/) Roper's single and video, "Metadata (We're Watching You)" was nominated by Chris K's Colorado Playlist for Top Music Video of the Year. Rob Roper's musical style is eclectic-- drawing on different rock genres as well as different folk genres. HIs lyrical style is also unique; no sappy love songs here. But plenty of songs about failed love, as well as social commentary-- sometimes angry, sometimes humorous.
