We’re thrilled to be a part of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s celebration of their 125 years of existence with this collab brew! We brewed the Mangy Moose with bucketfuls of CTZ, Chinook, Mosaic and Centennial hops to complement a 20 pound addition of spruce tips added in the boil. The result is a delicious and crisp pale ale with light notes of fruit on the nose, serenades of spruce waving over the palate and finishing with mild bitterness.
We brewed this pale ale in collaboration with CPW as a part of their “CPW on Tap” series and includes breweries, wineries, distilleries, kombucharies, cideries and coffee shops all over the state.
Each partner is focusing on a unique aspect of Colorado and their own relationship with parks and wildlife. Participating companies are generously donating the proceeds of CPW on Tap specially produced products to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and funds will be used for state park improvement projects, wildlife conservation programs and to help expand outdoor educational opportunities.
